 Rapid alloy identification of Stainless Steel, High Tech & Corrosion Resistant Alloys

410L KIT FEATURES:
This popular unit contains all of the equipment required to run alloy identifications. The portable case allows tests to be made in the shop, field or lab. Easy to use instructions contain alloy identification charts, allowing the user to see at a glance which tests to perform for accurate metal identification. With just one or two tests, taking only minutes to run, the user can lock in on the alloy type. This kit includes a set of 13 reagent bottles, magnet, two boxes of filter paper, sulphur paper, abrasive paper, electro-deposit apparatus and is packaged in a rugged portable case. Metal standards are provided to take the guesswork out of identification by allowing the operator to check the test results against known metals. Standards included are 303, 316, 420 stainless steel, monel™ and nickel. Instructions are written so that an average shop man can pick up the kit and rapidly perform metal identification. Using our electro-deposit method a test sample is obtained on filter paper in ten seconds with a final result in about one minute.
